Richard Roper ( Kwahn Jahng Nym )
Kuk Sool Won of Kingwood is dedicated to teaching the best of Korean Martial Arts tradition under the guidance of Head Instructor Kwahn Jhang Nym, Richard Roper. The School is owned and operated by Richard and his wife Hilda, who emigrated from the UK, to come to Houston at the invitation of the World Kuk Sool Association's (who's Headquarters is also in Houston) GrandMaster In Hyuk Suh.
Richard brings his expertise and the experience that comes with teaching and operating a Kuk Sool School for over 20 years and is a former UK Chief Instructor for Kuk Sool Won.
 
Hedi & Michael Moor
Hedi and Michael's first introduction to Kuk Sool was when Kwahn Jahng Nym walked into Minuteman Press where Hedi was Manager, for the Kingwood School's first printing requirements. Hedi thought that her two daughters might like to practice a Martial Art. Both girls signed up, and then Mom and Dad came too? That was eight years ago. Since then, both Hedi and Michael have competed and won Gold Medals in World Championship Competitions, in the USA and Korea. During their 8 years practice, Hedi and Michael, who are now 2nd Degree Black Belts and Senior Instructors of Kuk Sool Won of Kingwood have given an enormous amount of support to the Students, Kwahn Jahng Nym, and the Kingwood School.
Terri Waters
Terri and her twin sister Jennifer have been training at Kuk Sool Won of Kingwood since 1996. Even at the tender age of 11, Terri's leadership strengths were visible, and her commitment to training, and her dedication to practice has her held in high regard by all the students. Terri has competed in the World Championships held in Houston and also in the United Kingdom Championships, held in England. Her continued dedicated to her own practice has earned Terri the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt and Senior Instructor of Kuk Sool Won of Kingwood.
Linda Aleman
"A six week program, just to get my husband training" That was Linda's anniversary gift to her husband in 1998. Both Linda and her husband Angel decided to join full time, then children Amber and Stephen, and next came Christopher too!
Linda, Angel, Amber and Stephen are all 1st Degree Black Belts. Christopher is currently testing for his 1st Degree Black Belt, and Linda and Angel are testing for their 2nd Degree Black Belt. Linda is a shining example for all our lady students. Linda manages to balance her family of six, her job, and still practices at least 3 times a week, mostly in the morning class. Linda is an extremely able Instructor at Kuk Sool Won of Kingwood.
Allen Wallace
Allen also joined Kuk Sool Won of Kingwood in 1996. Watching a class from the sidelines, Allen wondered if "he could do that" After his introductory class - the rest as they say is history - . Allen has been a role model for many of the mature students that have joined Kingwood. Allen is the first to reach out his hand in friendship and encouragement to the new students.
